The Jeep Comanche was introduced in 1985 as the first compact pickup truck with four-wheel drive. It was based on the Cherokee model but featured a longer wheelbase, allowing more space in the truck's bed. The Comanche had two engine options available; a 2.5 L four-cylinder engine that produced 117 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque and a 4.0 L six-cylinder engine that produced 177 horsepower and 224 pound-feet of torque. Depending on preference, both engines were paired with either manual or automatic transmission options. Standard features included power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo radio, tilt wheel steering column, and cruise control.

Why Choose OEM Parts Over Aftermarket?

When it comes to repairing or restoring your Jeep Comanche, choosing quality parts that will last over time and provide maximum performance in off-road conditions is important. That is why it is recommended that you select OEM parts over aftermarket ones when working on your vehicle. OEM parts are designed specifically for your make and model, so you can rest assured knowing they will fit correctly and provide optimal performance no matter where your adventures take you.
